PolieBotics: licence notice

All of the technology described here is patent pending. Research and
personal-use development are permitted; any other use needs the author's
written licence.

The permission, as stated on https://poliebotics.com/LICENSE.html (the
author's statement of 9 September 2026, clarified on 10 September 2026):

  Cathal Ryan Hynes gives this permission for the rights he owns or is
  entitled to license in the PolieBotics material: the pages of this site,
  the public repositories of the poliebotics GitHub organisation that they
  point to, and the copies of the patent filings; and, for the permitted
  activities only, his rights under the identified patent applications (one
  published PCT application, WO 2025/046153 A2, and the Irish applications
  reported by the applicant). Everything not permitted below stays reserved.
  Uses outside this permission need a separate written licence where his
  rights apply; nothing here restricts acts that are lawful without
  permission.

  Permitted, without asking: research, and development for your own personal
  use. Within those purposes you may copy, study and modify the published
  source and designs, run the released code, build and use your own
  experimental instrument, and publish your own results and your own original
  code. Permission follows the activity, not who you are: a university, a
  company or a hobbyist may do these things, and each relies on these terms
  directly.

  Not permitted without a written licence: commercial use of any kind, a sale,
  and a service of any kind, paid or free; redistributing or relicensing the
  author's material; and sublicensing his patent rights. Where a use falls
  outside the permitted purposes, the permission does not cover it.

Patent applications (applicant Cathal Ryan Hynes; P.I.G.M.I.E. Ltd is the
commercial entity): the parent application published as WO 2025/046153 A2
(PCT/EP2024/080780), and PIGMIE Filing 1, Filing 2 and Filing 3, Irish
applications.

Trade marks (Intellectual Property Office of Ireland; proprietor of record
Cathal Ryan Hynes, or P.I.G.M.I.E. Ltd where the register says so):
PolieBotics, Truth Beam, Reality Transform, PoliePuter, PolieProboscis,
PolieBot, The PolieBots, PoliePals, P.I.G.M.I.E., Limage and Limager (class 9)
are registered trade marks. Reality Kernel and Narravite are accepted and not
yet registered. Limager (classes 41, 9 and 42), PolieProtectorate, PoliePaladin
and PolieProbe are applied for. See TRADEMARKS.md for the canonical, numbered
status table.
